Keeping pace with this summer’s blockbuster, Transformers 2 - Revenge of the Fallen, District 9 (aka D-9) will be another Sci-Fi thriller that will dazzle audience with stunning CGI imageries and awesome special effects. However, the film, produced by Peter Jackson of Lord of the Rings & King Kong fame, deals with a hotly debated issues around the globe today - the issue of illegal aliens. In an unique twist, the film asks what if the illegal aliens were actual aliens? That the squatters taking over were not of a different social-economical class, of a different ethnicity, of a different religion, but a completely different species? What then?
